The ability to take a idea in your head and see it to completion.
4: How did you get the idea?
We where contacted by a local haunted house (Plantation Blood) to automate their first and second rooms, and having to deal with what is on the market now, we decided to build our own controller to make the process easier.
5: How has your idea progressed over time?
Based on feed back from customers over the season we have started to shift to more expansion boards vs. big control units.

Mostly though trade shows and customer word of mouth.
9: Who are your main competitors?

Success- To keep things easy and understandable.
Failures – Not keeping up with technology; which when you need to do more than just turn one thing on and off, gets complicated.

Don’t be afraid to change your idea if demand needs it. Don’t get so emotionally involved in your idea that you can’t change with the market. Remember you are building things for others not only for yourself.

That it happens fast or over night. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
